SAM KELLY’S STATION HOUSE + The RIFFS HOUSE BAND A Blues-Soul fusion! The band started out as the ‘house band’ playing at Bob’s Goodtime Blues at the Station Tavern, London NW10 in the mid 90’s. The band was billed as a ‘Blues-Soul fusion featuring the classy vocals of Root Jackson and 1999’s Blues Drummer of the Year, Sam Kelly’ The current lineup is SAM KELLY (drums), TJ JOHNSON (Guitar/vocals), SPY (bass/vocals) and PAUL JOBSON (keyboards/vocals). In February 2007, the band formed the 'house band' for the UK Funk All-Stars Review at the Barbican, London, playing with Madeline Bell, Linda Lewis, Carol Grimes, Hamish Stuart (AWB) and original members of Gonzalez, FBI and Cymande (Sam being the original drummer with the group). This is Bob Logs first UK tour for four years since touring previously with Franz Ferdinand and The Kills and two years since his last legendary NTSOBC show at The Spitz - a truly memorable event, not only for Bob’s blistering performance but for the first and only blind stage diver at a NTSOBC show (true!).
Witnessing Bob Log live is an unmissable and unforgettable experience. By rights he should be a punk blues stadium super star. He takes to the stage with his face masked in a crash helmet with a black visor and a telephone wired in it for a mic and wearing a blue jump suit. Bob then unleashes a torrent of hardcore Mississippi Delta blues, hip hop beats and punk rock. The crash helmet telephone distorts the vocals and his hands, arms, legs and feet become a blur of jump suit clad limbs as he plays slide, triggers drum machines and drums with his feet simultaneousl. Bob then adds extra ingredients to this punk blues bouillabaisse with his unique version of audience participation. More often them not he’ll bounce a couple of audience members on his knees while playing, and then bring on the infamous Boob Scotch. The audience are invited to literally stick their boob in his scotch which he then drinks. If Bob feels satisfied he will then launch into his anthem Boob Scotch!

Deborah Bonham, arguably one of the UK's finest vocalists, releases her 3rd album 'Duchess' on Warners ATCO label world wide, and will be touring the UK, Europe and USA. 13 new tracks including a moving duet with Paul Rodgers, the album kicks off with the incredibly powerful 'Grace' and moves through different styles and grooves reminiscent of Little Feat, Maggie Bell, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin, even touching on English folk with the track Chains featuring Fairport Convention’s Dave Pegg on madolin.
The album hosts a classic mix of Blues Rock and Soul, with additional guests BJ Cole on Pedal Steel Guitar, Robbie Blunt and Jason Bonham . Deborah's live performances have seen her open shows and duet with such luminaries as Paul Rodgers, Jools Holland, Fairport Convention, Ann Peebles, Paul Weller, Robert Plant, Foreigner, Humble Pie, Lonnie Donnegan, Van Halen, Alannah Myles, Peter Frampton and Donovan. She has appeared at legenday music venue Riffs Bar many times and is very much looking forward to coming back.

NEVER THE BRIDE + Support "The best female rock voice since Janis Joplin." - Roger Daltrey
Fresh from enjoying their recent chart success with ‘The Living Tree’ a song Shirley Bassey took into the charts, and an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival, at which Shirley introduced them to crowd (and TV) powerful rockers Never The Bride return Riffs.
Never the Bride are incredible vocalist Nikki Lamborn and keyboard playing composer Catherine Feeney, also known as The Been. They first met on stage on the London jam scene and quickly formed a creative song writing collaboration.
NTB’s reputation quickly grew alongside big support slots with The Who, ZZ TOP and The Pretenders. After successfully supporting The Who, a personal call from Roger Daltrey led to Nikki and Been joining Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers, Peter Frampton and a few more rock gods on The British Rock Symphony Tour. The band toured the UK, Europe and Australia with the Orchestra, making a huge impression with their interpretation of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven.
At the The Royal Albert Hall show, Roger held up both their arms and said to the audience who were going crazy, "What d'ya reckon then? Nikki Lamborn has the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin and I know what I'm talking about, I knew Janis."
Nikki's powerful presence and strong vocals has been described as Tina Turner and Robert Plant rolled into one. Her incredible voice came under the spotlight while coaching a Cambridge choir girl in the ways of rock for Channel 4's Faking It series. Been, keyboard player and occasional guitarist, is the main composer behind the songs that together with Nikki's voice, make Never The Bride unique.
Other band members include Murray Gould on guitar who has played with Elton John, Dido and Faithless, and David Levy on bass, who has backed Rory Gallagher and Bonnie Tyler amongst others. Drummer Richie Newman's previous gigs have included Steve Marriott, Rory Gallagher, Alvin Lee and Sam Brown.
